Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Her most well-known role was Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock and Martha Bullock, respectively, on The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School, before her family relocated to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked as a theatre actor in the Chicago area for several years prior to trying her hand at TV as well as film roles. In 1992, Anna got her first major role in the role of Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. The early 90s were when she was a frequent actor in both film and TV including Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. The mid-2000's saw her was placed in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. The show was recast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood was a different film that she appeared in. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn was a part of a four-part audio-play show called "Numbered Days". The romance that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the story of Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and eventually its demise echoing the same storyline of Walter White's last years of life.
